Monaye Etana is the mother of two beautiful young adults. Her son is a Navy sailor, and her daughter is in grad school. Being a mother has taught her the meaning of unconditional love. She is a native Floridian but has lived in various states. She has a Criminal Justice and financial background and currently enjoys her career as a Fraud Auditor.
Monaye is the Author of No Longer Bound, which focuses on her life’s struggles with abandonment, child sexual abuse, and assault and how she overcame. She wrote this book with hopes of encouraging other women and show that your past circumstances do not have to dictate your today. The book can be purchased on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. She had the pleasure of being featured by Orlando Voyager in 2021.
Monaye is also an advocate for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention and a Mission Ambassador for a non-profit organization that aims to educate and prevent child trafficking.
She is also the owner of The Grief Path which is dedicated to helping grievers by offering one-on-one online sessions via Zoom as a 7-week session.
