Lianne is the creator and host of Watch Us Thrive, a personal development podcast that talks about mental health, healing from trauma that keeps us stuck in toxic relationships & how we can reconnect with our inner magic✨
Lianne has been on her personal development journey since early 2021. After escaping a physically & emotionally abusive relationship, she realized that she was attracting the same type of toxic partner over and over again. She saw that she was the common denominator in those relationships and knew it was time for a hard reset & start healing her deep-rooted wounds.
In the process of her journey to healing, Lianne started her podcast, Watch Us Thrive, to share the life stories of what she’s gone through. It has turned into a beautiful platform where people come on to share their own life experiences of turning their trauma into triumph and pain into power.
Lianne is passionate about helping listeners heal from their own life experiences by being able to share her own and the stories of others. She was afraid to use her voice in those toxic relationships and now that she’s free. Lianne is taking her power back and speaking up for the voiceless, one episode at a time.
You can check out her website to stay up to date. Listen to the podcast on your favorite streaming platform, with brand new episodes available every Tuesday at 5AM EST.
In this season of time there’s so much hustle and bustle. People are over working, trying to make their purchases, trying to shop, trying to fulfill that holiday dream. However, the way I see it, holiday time should be a season of everyday time. Holiday time should be nothing other than gratitude time. We all should wake up grateful. We all should wake up understanding the fact that time is of the essence, and time is not on our side. We should treat this time like it’s our last time and do all we can to let our light shine. Even though we have been taught things take time, I’m here to say things don’t take time, but they take action and effort. In this time with all our actions and efforts, I hope we put more time into being nice to one another without judging each other and giving thanks when we wake up, throughout the day, and before we go to sleep to our creator who has allowed us this sentimental time.
Holiday time should be everyday time. We should be focused on nothing but gratitude time. Husbands love your wives, wives love your husbands, parents love your children, children love your parents, love on each other like this your last time. Holiday time therefore everyday, so let your light shine.
Here is Mandy Storm with her third single ‘Run’ The 35-year-old Mandy Storm has been working on music for as long as she can remember. In elementary school she didn’t skip a talent show or musical and loved it to be in the spotlight. Music was also an important thing in high school, she completed her final exam in music with a 9. She gained experience in singing with guest appearances with J&J two men Company. She took a number of singing lessons at Marion van Iwaarden. Solo she works on her own music and lyrics.
About 7 years ago Mandy Storm started writing her own lyrics. After writing a lyric, she picks up her ukulele to make a melody. Her head is turning wild with lots of creative ideas. All her lyrics are based on events from her own life. You could say Mandy is giving you a peek into her diary. This also applies to this song Run. It is about having the strength to come out of a period of darkness. Never give up is her motto, and she wants to encourage people who are having bad times, to listen to your inner voice and knowing that after bad times, there will come good times. Mandy really likes music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. You can also hear that in her own music. She likes to put some old sounds in new music. She hopes that people will enjoy listening her new single. One thing is very clear, this song will not be the last one that we hear from her!

Lay’na Michelle quotes ” In the industry, I would love to show that independent artists deserve just as many “flowers” as major artists. Our worth should not be determined on whether or not our name is signed on a contract.
I would like to impact others by bringing positive energy to everyone that takes on the #RnBEmpress experience. Life maybe short but having a positive mind set will always make life worth living. My dream project would be to do a whole soundtrack to a movie. The way Curtis Mayfield did for Superfly, or the way Prince did for various Spike Lee Movies. I would love for my craft to set the tone/soundtrack of a film.

The advice I have for others is to remember to stay grounded and pray. Always set goals. When you stay focused on your goals the only thing that may change is the time it takes to achieve them.
